2015 The Year of the Shihan Dai will go down in history in the International Karate Kobudo Union. With several newly awarded ranks, Matt Downton, Cindy Vetter, Michael Hoffman and Amy Howell were all awarded the Title of Shihan Dai. Along with the Title came the Rank of 6th Dan in Kotosu-Ha Shito-Ryu. Very few Karateka make it to the rank that these individuals have achieved. This higher level Dan Rank gives us all inspiration and drive to further knowledge and continue along the path. Osu!
