Please welcome Sierra Foothills Karate to the IKKU Family as our latest Associated Member. Sierra Foothills Karate currently has 2 traditional style dojos located in California under the direction of Sensei Jason Kilgore. Originally founded in 1987, Sierra Foothills Karate has now been around 31 years. Today Sensei Kilgore has plans for expansion into Arizona during the upcoming months ahead.

Sensei Kilgore is well versed in Okinawan Kobudo, Goju-Ryu Karate, Iaido, Jujutsu, Kenpo and Filipino Martial Arts. As an active Service Member of the USMC, Sensei runs classes for both Law Enforcement and Military personnel which is hosted at the U.S ARMY BASE in Old Fort Ord, CA.

And again please help us welcome Sierra Foothills Karate to the IKKU Family. OSU!

Welcome KYOSHINKAN to the IKKU Family

Please welcome our latest International Karate Kobudo Union Associated Member KYOSHINKAN to the IKKU family. KYOSHINKAN is a traditional style dojo located in Cartersville, Georgia under the direction of Hanshi Lenny Jordan.

Hanshi Jordan founded KYOSHINKAN in Virginia in 1982 and later relocated to Georgia in 2001. Hanshi Jordan is also the founder of KYOSHINKAI. KYOSHINKAI is an organization which allows for other styles to train together, in a non-political and friendly manner. Under the KYOSHINKAI banner, there are schools located in Florida, Virginia and West Virginia.

Hanshi Jordan is a certified black belt in both Shorin-Ryu and Shito-Ryu karate, with certification in Kobudo (weapons), Iaido (sword) and Goshin Budo (self-defense).  He is the student of Hanshi James Herndon and additionally, has trained directly under Soke Shogo Kuniba and Shihan Tsutomu Watanabe. In 2014, Sensei Jordan was awarded the rank of Hachidan 8th Dan from Soke Joseph Ruiz of the International Karate Kobudo Union.
