Camp Katsu-Ryu Kempo
Please plan on joining us as we continue our Annual IKKU Summer Camp tradition. Camp will take place on the Campus of Oxford College in Oxford, GA from June 7 – 11. By popular demand this years Camp theme is Camp Katsu-Ryu Kempo. We have some SPECIAL activities planned for this week centered around this rare martial art system . Kempo Charts, Kata and Bunkai are all a part of this years planned sessions. So please put the camp dates on your calendar and make plans to join us.
Soke Joseph Ruiz is the foremost expert in Katsu-Ryu Kempo in the United States. He learned this martial arts system during his time in the orient from Kanki Izumikawa in Japan. Katsu-Ryu Kempo is a martial arts system that incorporates 12 animals into its fighting techniques, forms and bunkai. This martial arts system derives its roots from ancient Chinese Gung-Fu.
The Camp is open to all styles and all ranks and it’s going to be a great time for those attending. The first class is scheduled Wednesday, June 7 at 7:00pm and the Camp ends on Sunday June 11 late morning.
Minimum $50 Deposit Due by May 1, 2017
