DESCRIPTION:The 2026 IKKU Annual Black Belt Test and Karate Seminar will take place at Tora Shin on Saturday\, September 26\, 2026. This event will be hosted by Hanshi Ron Downton & Kyoshi-Sei Jenny Downton of the Hombu Dojo\, Tora Shin in Social Circle\, GA. \nPlease join us in showing your support for the Black Belts who have worked hard and spent time on the floor for this special day. \nFollowing the black belt exam\, there will be a karate clinic in the afternoon\, with a grill out and birthday party for Soke in the evening. \nPlease let us know ASAP if you plan to attend…\nSchedule:\nSaturday\, September 26th \n9:00 am – 9:30 am Check-in & Warm Up \n10:00 am – Finish Black Belt Exam \nNoon-ish- 1:30 pm Lunch \n1:30 pm – 4:00 pm Afternoon Training Session \n\n  \nDinner – Grilling at the Downton’s.  Please bring your favorite dish as we will be celebrating Soke’s Birthday. \n\n  \nAdditional IKKU Information:\nFor information about joining the IKKU—International Karate Kobudo Union—please visit our IKKU Registration Page. DESCRIPTION:The 2026 IKKU Christmas Karate & Kobudo Clinic \nSuansu Karate Kai in Dexter\, GA \nDecember 5 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm \n\n\nPlease join us for our annual IKKU Christmas clinic and festivities scheduled Dec. 5\, 2025. This event will be hosted by Kyoshi Kim Blue of the Suansu Karate Kai at his estate in Dexter\, GA. The IKKU Karate Seminar will feature Soke Joseph Ruiz\, 10th Dan and Founder of the Kotosu-Ha Shito-Ryu Karate-Do System. With Soke’s vast kata and bunkai knowledge\, he always has something good to teach us. You don’t ever want to miss an opportunity to participate in his clinics because the exposure and expertise available to lower ranks are enlightening.  Both morning and afternoon sessions\, including Kata and Bunkai\, are scheduled. \nFollowing the day’s events will be the annual supper and festivities. Times will be announced at the clinic\, usually starting around 6:00 p.m. Come ready to rekindle old friendships and make new ones. Please bring your favorite dish and beverages for the evening event. \nA white elephant gift exchange is planned\, so each person should bring a gift (male or female)\, with a maximum cost of $10.
