IKKU Awards Shodan to James Filsinger – A big congratulation goes out to James Filsinger, who tested for and passed the Shodan Requirements for Kotosu-Ha Shito-Ryu on September 22. James gave out thanks and praise to all that helped him prepare for testing and was quoted as saying “The test may have been an individual effort, but it would not have happened if I did not have the support of my IKKU family”.
James trains under Shihan Dai Mike Hoffman of the Kita Kaze Karate Kai. Classes are held at the Sugar Hill Community Center, Sugar Hill, GA on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings.
